It's Finally Here!

YAY! I’ve finally gotten my hands on my mini ASOS haul!

Before I delve into the beauty products, I have to mention that having the items sent through our regular Pos Malaysia is nothing sort of a nightmare.

I was supposed to receive the items on 1st March according to the ASOS team, but in the end I managed to get them only on 9th March..those couple of days waiting to see if the shipment arrived was pure agony..I shall spare you the sordid details (:

On to the items…ahh..the coveted Tangle Teezer, adored by so many…so did it live up to all the hype?
Well…to be honest, it has left me a little underwhelmed. But it could well be that I was expecting a miracle product, something that would leave my hair just that much glossier, maybe even a little bouncier? (that’s pushing it I know..haha)

But if I striped away prior preconceptions about the Tangle Teezer, I would say that this is pretty handy little thing. Besides it being lightweight, it is gentle on the hair and can detangle effectively. For me, it does cause some breakage of hair but it’s much more minimal than if I use a regular comb.

So if you have massively bushy and tangly hair then this is the comb for you, but if you have a brush that you are happy with, then just stick with that because the price tag for it is pretty steep.

Now for the Rimmel blushes – Santa Rose and Pink Rose. I have fallen head-over-heels in love! These blushes are pigmented and so easy to work with. I have worn both blushes for more than 10 hours and it’s still there when I want to cleanse my face. That’s how long lasting the Rimmel blushes are.

Santa Rose is huge cult favourite and I can see why. The colour suits just about any skin tone as it’s a peach tone blush, it looks to have a slight shimmer in the pan but it doesn’t translate onto the cheeks once on. It looks great for both day and night time too.

Pink Rose, just like its name gives a beautiful natural pink flush to the cheeks. The texture is smooth and glides nicely on to the skin. It seems to leave a pretty sheen too as it does brighten up the skin tone.

The slight downside to it is the flimsy packaging, it feels like I’ll crack the cover or something and I still can’t quite get over about how tiny the product looks. But with 4g of product, it should last me quite a while and it is handy to carry about in my makeup bag too!

These two blushes are a definite winner in my books (:
