MAC ARCHIE’S GIRLS COLLECTION  PEARLMATTE FACE POWDER - FLATTER ME

I didn’t quite expect to get anything from the MAC Archie’s Girls Collection but as i passed a MAC store, i  was inexplicably drawn to the fun packaging.

I grew up with Archie’s comics and while i remember loving Veronica’s massive wardrobe selection, i was always rooting for Betty to win Archie’s heart..hehe..a little stroll down memory lane!

Anyways, back to MAC, out of the entire collection, i fell in love with the Face/Beauty Powders. There were two on offer, one is called Veronica’s Blush and the other Flatter Me.

Both have the same heart shape design stamped onto the powder and as i swatched them, the powder felt silky soft. It was heaven.

In the end i decided to go with Flatter Me as it suited me best. The base powder is an iridescent pearlized pink while the cute embossed hearts are a corally pink shade (it almost looks too pretty to be used..well, almost).

Once swirled together, it gives a gorgeous pearly shimmer and if with a light hand, it can be the most amazing looking highlight as it gives a luminous glow. But for me, i prefer to have a little more *oomph* so i’ll sweep my brush generously across the pan for a deeper colour payoff. And it looks perfect!

I am so happy with my little splurge as it really is like a 3 in 1 product. Its either a highlighter, a blush or an all over face powder to perk up your skin!
